- The month of April was a tough one, I'm not gonna lie. Poor little guy still has ear infections that just won't go away. We've done mega doses of antibiotics and they just don't seem to be working. He wakes up in the night in so much pain. I know we can conquer these ear infections and that gets me through!
- And through it all he remains happy and funny. He weighs nearly 18 lbs and continues to grow and grow. Sometimes I look at him and wonder where the time went and how he got so big already.
- He is becoming more and more mobile belly crawling all over the floor. And I mean all over - sometimes he ends up in different rooms of the house.
- Charlie enjoyed his first Easter. We went to church and then out for lunch with the Dowd family. He was charming, as usual.
- April also held his first crawfish boil, with the LSU alumni group, no less, he also had a class party and picnic at school.
- He still has just the two bottom teeth.
- His hair is thicker and stands up all over his head.
- Charlie and Christopher have a fun time playing and make each other laugh.
- We have ditched the infant bath and the boys can now take a bath together. So much easier!
- This month Charlie had another visit to the zoo. We took a Friday morning and went as a family. Great fun by all.
- And while we've struggled a tad to get him to take a bottle (I'm sure it hurt his ears) I do believe he would eat a steak if I gave it to him. He loves his food!
- Charlie has the best little belly laugh. When he laughs it makes us laugh. Tickling his belly or kissing on his nose will usually get him going! I love it.
