Fun times

We had a visit to Houston last weekend and Christopher got to meet my dear friend Janet! They are too cute, aren't they? Aunt Janet gave him his first outfit while I was barely pregnant. We had a great time.

Just lounging at home.

All tuckered out.

Birthday time!

Both of Christopher's grandmothers have September birthdays. Lollie's on the 10th and Mimi's on the 11th. He was able to celebrate with Lollie a couple of weekends ago and with Mimi this past weekend. He even wore is celebratory onesie!

Everyone loves a pool party

9 months old!

So we were ALL over the place while taking these photos! Enjoy!!

  • Christopher's method of travel...rolling! He goes anywhere he wants by rolling there. And he does a nice 360 spin on his belly. It's his reverse break dancing move.
  • He two bottom teeth are coming in more and more. No more teeth, yet.
  • He has just started sitting up on his own.
  • When Brown walks into the room or he sees him he squeals with delight. Mutual affection. I'm getting use to the dog hair all over him and the sloppy dog kisses.
  • This last month he performed his first stunt at school by flipping himself over in his bouncy seat. Nice one kiddo.
  • He weighs 16 lbs, 11 ozs. and is in the 4th percentile. He is 27 3/4 inches long and that puts him in the 25th percentile.
  • He sleeps great and is enjoying new foods. He loves sweet potatoes, corn, pears and apples.

A day at the Dallas Arboretum

We enjoyed a little family time today at the Arboretum.

Which do you prefer, St. Augustine or Bermuda? Starting him early...

The Riverwalk in San Antonio

We had a great time on the Riverwalk with Leslie, Hanna and Madison. We had dinner out, we did the boat tour and saw The Alamo.

Christopher's first flight - he did great!!

Again, napping in his stroller.

The Bacalas near The Alamo.

On the boat on the Riverwalk.

Worn out mommy! I finished off this day with a chocolate milkshake all to myself...if that tells you anything.

Shamu!

We went to San Antonio last weekend to see our friend Leah.

We went to Sea World on a very hot Saturday in August. We all survived. Christopher enjoyed just looking at everything and took his fair share of naps in his stroller that day too. He was a trooper traveling and did great all weekend.

The Shamu show!

What Christopher thought of the Shamu show...
