A perfect 10!

Well, it appears I was a bit overzealous with Christopher's weight at 5 months. He went in today for a weight check (as his mother I would be mortified if that had been an appointment for me!). He weighed in at 13 lbs, 14 ozs. Just enough to again land him smack in the 10th percentile of babies. A perfect 10! ;-)

This means that for his age 90% of babies weigh more than him. Doc says we're fine so we'll press on. We will stick with purely formula (no cereal for now) for another month and see what he weighs when he bellies up to the bar in 4 weeks.

He's happy, healthy and wonderful - it's all good.

5 Months Old!

And here we are at 5 months. Here's some of what we've seen and experienced in the last month.

• rolling over!
• laughing at anyone and anything around him
• sleeping like a champ at night
• playing with his feet at any chance he gets
• he is still so happy and content most of the time
• his hair is coming in more and more and is pretty light

Sudbury Sold!

Six years ago this month I bought the Sudbury house. A LOT has happened in those 6 years. I was in my early 30's living the fun, single life in Dallas. I had a great job, fantastic friends and I was traveling all over the world. It was a super time in life. During my 6 years here I changed jobs - from a great one to an even more exciting one, I fell in love, I got married and I had a baby. And life is even more wonderful and more fulfilling now. But life marches forward and Chris and I are on to the next chapter. The house sold and we move at the end of the month. We are so excited!!!
