March Madness

March has been good to us. We are sorta in our groove now and sleeping through the night is actually a real possibility these days. Spring has arrived and we LOVE the weather right now in Dallas.

We woke up this morning to a very funny sight. All was well and Christopher was hanging out in his crib. We could hear that he was awake but he was happy and content so we went about our business for a few more minutes. Chris went in to get him and this is what he found...

3 Months Old!

How can it be? March 12, 2010 Christopher turned 3 months old.

He's cracking us up each day. He smiles and laughs and thinks he's hilarious. He still enjoys his baths, loves his activity mat and it settling into a routine and schedule more and more as the weeks go by. He's battled his first tummy bug - and we did too - and came through with flying colors. Glad to have that under our belt. He hit his 3 month growth spurt and is longer and weighs over 11lbs. already. He's our little love. After a brutal Dallas winter we are excited that spring is here. We look forward to being outdoors more and more.

St. Patty's Day

Christopher's first St. Patrick's Day! He had to wear green, of course, and his Lollie found this shirt that says "My mommy thinks I'm charming." He's right!!

This picture was early in the morning and my hair was still wet. Chris and I had been to the David Gray concert the night before. Mom babysat and then spent the night with us. She then went to drop Christopher off at daycare with me and she got to see Dealey Child Care Center where he is each day. It was a fun morning.

When it rains, it pours!

So last week Christopher got his first germs from school. He picked up a tummy bug on Thursday and was sent home. We loved on our little peanut and syringe fed him Pedialyte until he perked up. He started getting better by Friday afternoon and then during the night Friday Chris and I both got sick. Saturday was a day I hope to soon forget! We were all feeling a little better Sunday and sorta limping along until the germs attacked Christopher again Sunday evening...and we started all over again. Today was a happy day with everyone back in fighting form.

His first illness was something I had been dreading but somehow I feel more accomplished as a mom knowing we can all survive it.

Brown was even bored by the lack of weekend activities. We left the room for a moment and came back to find him here!
